We are looking for a knowledgeable Accounting Manager who can lead and motivate accounting staff members and increase department accuracy and efficiency. The Accounting Manager will delegate, supervise, and participate in accounting department tasks, oversee the recording, tracking, and reporting of financial information, hire, train, and motivate accounting staff members, develop, and implement department controls and procedures, and ensure that the department operates efficiently without sacrificing accuracy


Requirements
  • Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.

  • Ensuring that all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislation.

  • Analysing financial data and creating reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties.

  • Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and manage external and internal audit.

  • Assisting other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.

  • Evaluating, developing, and improving department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency.

  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

  • Working as the first point of contact for all matters specific to accounts.

  • Preparation of quarterly & annual Financial Statements as per IND AS and US GAAP.

  • Ensuring all policies and process related to accounts are adhered, Review of monthly & annual GST returns, oversee the process of GST reconciliation, and involve in GST audits.

  • Handling direct and indirect tax related matters.

  • Prepare Income tax computation and advance tax calculation.

  • Ensuring compliance with TDS / TCS deduction, timely deposit and return filing, Keeping informed about the latest developments in the finance industry.

  • Chartered accountant with strong accounting and book keeping experience of 7+ years Working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager.

  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles.

  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.

  • Ability to direct and supervise Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to analyses large amounts of data.

  • Understanding of GST, TDS and Taxations matters.

  • Knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS would be an additional advantage.

  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
